The Sims

The Sims 4 is a life simulation game that allows players to create and control virtual characters, known as Sims, and build their homes and lives. With an emphasis on creativity and open-ended gameplay, players can design unique Sims, form relationships, pursue careers, and explore various life scenarios. Since its release, the game has received multiple awards, including the 2015 BAFTA Games Award for Best Family and Social Game, and has continued to be celebrated for its engaging and ever-evolving content.

Sims Mobile

The Sims Mobile, a life simulation game for Android and iOS based on The Sims 4, lets players create unique Sims, build homes, start families, and manage their Sims' lives.
Upon its release, The Sims Mobile topped the App Store charts. Within its first four months, the game generated over $25 million. It was also nominated for "Outstanding Video Game" at the 30th GLAAD Media Awards.

The Sims Stories lets you play interactive stories from The Sims franchise! Simply say, "Alexa, play The Sims Stories" to begin. Based on "StrangerVille", it is the first adaptation of a Sims 4 pack for Amazon Alexa, highlighting both the potential and challenges of an audio-only Sims experience. The skill earned a 4/5 rating in the Alexa Skill Store.

Sophie interned as a UX Designer with my team at EA in the summer of 2016. In her 3 months with us, Sophie demonstrated a refined set of skills that made her an amazing contributor, and a standout designer. She showed an intelligent and pragmatic approach to solving complex UX problems - able to explore ideas and document them through different methods such as whiteboarding, wireframing, userflows, prototyping, and even mapping out content with spreadsheet!. It's not rare for designers to know how to execute each of these methods, but Sophie's intuition on when and how to use each method is what made her uniquely effective. With a user first mindset, Sophie provided insights and value bombs that showed up in her own work, and had rippling effects on the rest of the team. Sophie is also some sort of Technical marvel, because she was able to pick up new tools such as Sketch for wireframing, Flinto for interaction design prototyping, and even figured out a less-than-intuitive implementation/UI layout tool.
